Celebrating a Love as Precious as Diamonds

On October 25, 1952, Doris Marie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell John Schaffner, and Ronald Louis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Earl Johnson, were united in marriage. Ron and Doris renewed their vows in Hawaii for their 60th anniversary in 2012.

They have resided in central Ohio for their entire married life, active in church and community.

Their 3 children, Keith (Cheryl) Johnson, Karla (Ken) Beamer, and Kyna (Andy) Shindle; 9 grandchildren, Denver (Jenn) Shindle, Kathy (Robert) Rider, Bernadine (Ron) Pesika, Kim (Brad) Kohl, Holly (Jack) Williams, R (Andrea) Johnson, Kevin (Ashley) Beamer, Kendra (Josue) De La Cruz, and Skye Johnson; 2 angel great-grandsons Jack Andrew Williams and James Ryan Johnson; and 13 great-grandchildren love them dearly and wish the happy couple many more years of good health and joy.
